Remember morning break and being out on the playground? You can hear the shrieks of joy just thinking about it can’t you?

Just because we’re adults, that doesn’t mean we have to make life all about work. At this time of year, as we become increasingly focused on productivity and finishing, the simple joys of play may go a long way to reducing stress, enhancing mood and boosting our socio-emotional skills.

At this end-of-year Canterbury Culture First event we'll meet up for connection, conversation and creativity at one of our favourite cultural venues - Lumiere Cinema at the Arts Centre.

We invite you to:

• Take part in some unstructured fun by trying something new and experimenting with something different.
• Use your hands and talk at the same time -- work to create something that demonstrates an idea in a new and different way.
• Laugh, have a convo, and enjoy a few nibbles and a drink while engaging in a series of challenges to 'show and tell' us about your out-of-the-box thinking.
