Aug 22, 3:30 – 5:00 AM (UTC)
The Christchurch Culture First chapter invites you to join us in a discussion of psychological safety. As culture practitioners in Aotearoa, how are you partnering with the business to create and sustain psychological safety in your organisation?
“A [psychologically] safe workplace is one where people feel that they can speak up, offer ideas, and ask questions without fear of humiliation or retribution. Creating such a culture is essential for fostering learning, innovation, and growth” (Amy Edmundson).
As a culture practitioner in Aotearoa, how are you partnering with the business to create and sustain psychological safety in your organisation?
This next Christchurch Culture First event will invite you to look at psychological safety from any of three points of view: as an individual in the workplace; a team leader; or as a professional contributing to programming to enable healthy company cultures.
We have selected several podcasts or webinars to choose from to learn more about the topic from the point of view that you want to know more about.
When you register, we’ll send you the links to choose from. Listen to one, two, or more and join us in a facilitated virtual discussion on the 22nd of August from 3.30 – 5.00
In addition to sharing ideas, we’ll hear from guest speaker Elizabeth Stewart, from Merivale Industrial who will share insights from her work on "How Incivility at Work Erodes Psychological Safety".
For attending, you'll go in the draw to win a voucher for a free download for an audio-book/podcast.
If you’ve been hearing a lot about psych safety and want a comprehensive view on its foundations and cultural implications we hope you’ll join us on the 22nd!
