About this event

📷✨ What if your smartphone camera wasn’t just for capturing moments, but for creating them?

Join us for an inspiring hour of connection, creativity, and well-being as we explore the theme of Bright Spots—the small, meaningful moments that spark joy, resilience, and positivity in our lives.

This session we’ll explore how photography can be a tool for connection, creativity, and well-being—no experience needed! Inspired by Cig Harvey’s approach, we’ll shift from simply taking photos to making images that tell deeper stories.

Through guided prompts and shared reflection, you’ll:

✅ Reimagine everyday photography as a creative practice

✅ Use your smartphone to see beyond what’s in front of you

✅ Explore how personal images can inspire joy, beauty, and meaning

Bring your curiosity, your smartphone, and an open mind. Let’s create together!

📍 Virtual Event

Note to our community: It’s bittersweet to share that this will be the last event led by Paula & Rita. We've been deeply enriched by co-creating this community over the past year and a half, but it’s time for us to step back and make space for new creative endeavors. We hope there’s interest in shaping the next phase of the Culture First Creative Well-Being Chapter. If you feel called to step into this space—or know someone who might—we’d love to connect and support the transition. Reach out if this resonates or if you’re curious about shaping the future of this vibrant community!
