About this event

Join us for a compelling discussion titled "Understanding Power and Its Impact" where we break down the concept of power and what it means in the workplace. We will explore how power dynamics influence workplace cultures, why it's crucial to recognize and address these imbalances, and how power can be used responsibly to uplift those around us, drawing upon real-life examples and stories through the insights and experiences shared by panellists from the research and community sectors.

This virtual/online event is an opportunity for you to share your experiences, learn from others, and collaborate in creating a more balanced and empowering environment. Don't miss this chance to contribute to a meaningful conversation and help us grow a supportive community. Bring your thoughts, questions, and an open mind as we tackle this important topic together.

This is a co-presented event between Franklin Women and the Culture First Global Chapter ‘Culture Belongs to Everyone', facilitated by Dr Ayan Dasvarma (he/him), a proud gay man, person of colour and second-generation migrant who has many years of experience in medical research, tertiary education leadership and community service, advocacy and leadership in Australia and abroad.

RSVP now to join us in this transformative discussion and be part of a movement where culture truly belongs to everyone!
