We are excited to extend an invitation to our second annual "Culture by the Campfire" event. Last year's gathering held a special place in many of our hearts, compelling us to recreate the magic. Immerse yourself in an evening filled with lively conversation, laughter, and unity at the picturesque Shawnee Mission Park. Come fortify our community bonds, deepen our understanding of each other, and leave feeling revitalized and inspired.

Date & Time: Thursday, October 19th 

Optional Hike: 4:30 PM

Potluck Dinner & Campfire Conversations: 5:30 PM

Venue: Shawnee Mission Park - 7900 Renner Rd, Shawnee, KS 66219 (Fire Ring location between Shelter #5 and #6. Parking by Shelter #5. See map below for directions.)

Event End Time & Park Closure: While our scheduled event will conclude at 9:00 PM, we're able to enjoy the conversation until the park closes at 10:00 PM. Last year, we had such a fantastic time that we stayed until the park closed! 

📋 Activities:

Delight in a light optional hike through the trails of Shawnee Mission Park.

Enjoy a potluck dinner - we'll be providing proteins and light desserts.

Engage in conversations, share ideas, and offer support and insight as we gather around the crackling campfire.

🍽 What to Bring:

- A side dish to share with others.

- Your preferred beverages.

- A comfortable lawn chair.

- A headlamp or flashlight for safety and convenience once the sun goes down.

- A trash bag to help ensure we leave the site as we found it

Lastly, we are only allowed to have 25 people at the fire ring, so if you register, please make sure to attend and let us know if you're no longer available to be there.
