As part of Culture Amp’s Impact Week (May 5–9), the Culture First Kansas City Chapter is coming together to support our local community in a hands-on, heart-forward way.

Join us on the morning of Tuesday, May 7th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a special volunteer event with the Veterans Community Project at 8825 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131.

VCP is a Kansas City-born nonprofit that’s now making waves nationally—known for its innovative tiny home village and robust wraparound services designed to support veterans as they transition out of homelessness and reintegrate into civilian life. Their mission is simple and powerful: Veterans housing Veterans, armed with the strength and support of the community.

Services they provide to veterans include: Rent/Utility Assistance / Food and Hygiene Kits / Career Coach/Employment Supports / Discharge Upgrade Services / Military Documentation Services / Counseling Referrals / Housing Referrals / Case Management / Dental Care 

We’ll be helping with whatever their team needs that morning—this could include assembling outreach kits, filling snack bags, processing donations, or supporting upkeep efforts for the tiny home village. Our presence will help amplify the life-changing work this organization does every day.
