About this event

We are wired for connection.

And yet, in a world that has us always plugged in, it can often feel like we're worlds apart even from people sitting right next to us.

So how might we foster a culture of connection in the spaces we live and work?
And how might we begin to break down barriers and build bridges to more meaningful connection?

Join Jen Horn and Kookie Santos, co-creators of Ugnayan Cards for Connection, to take part in an introvert-friendly community meetup that will give you space to connect more with yourself while connecting with others.

Through this gathering, we hope you'll walk away knowing yourself better, and inspired to engage in deeper conversations with others at home and at work.

Intended flow:

  • 5:00PM-5:30PM - Folks arrive, claim their decks, settle in
  • 5:30PM-6:00PM - Opening and introductions by Jen & Kookie (sadya ng paglikha + gabay sa pakikipag-ugnayan)
  • 6:00PM-7:00PM - Ugnayan experience (facilitated conversations using Ugnayan Cards)
  • 7:00PM-7:30PM - Closing and thank you's

* A small surprise awaits those who've ordered and paid for their Ugnayan Cards prior to the meetup! 😊 (If you've already had your deck delivered, please bring your deck to claim your treat.)

About the facilitators:

  • Jen Horn (@jenhorn_) is a facilitator, coach and writer, born and raised in the Philippines. She cultivates connection through spaces for reflection and conversation as Culture Practice Lead at Haraya Coaching and Chapter Lead of Culture First Manila, so that individuals and teams can unblock their own flow. Her curiosities and practice lie in the intersections of culture, creativity, and the wellbeing of the individual, communities and the planet. She shares her learning and the evolution of those ideas through @pagbubuo.
  • Kookie Santos (@kookiesantos) is a Filipino designer and creative lead at Canva Philippines. Her work embraces silly, funky and spontaneous forms that wish to express a sense of joy and wonder. Her approach to her work is her personal reminder of gentleness and fun-loving lightness to oneself and then to others. She is most curious with playful exploration.
