About this event

Stimulating days lie ahead. As we approach the upcoming US Election, regardless of which side of the pendulum you are on, there are challenging conversations and organizational dynamics on the horizon. How important will it be to our organizations to acknowledge what is happening? What should we consider? How might we prepare? How will this impact our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts? Answers to an intangible future are elusive if not impossible to obtain, but preparedness will pay off. So let’s think it through, together.

Join us for a live discussion to introduce this new community, Culture First New York, as well as welcome our first guest: Tracy Edmonds, Diversity Expert and Former Chief Diversity Officer. Tracy will help shape our conversation and give a sneak peak into her forthcoming book: "Wild Hair: A Courageous Woman's Guide to Authenticity at Work."

We are hosting the first of a series of (virtual) events on Thursday 10/22 (2-3:30pm ET) for an introduction to Culture First New York. The purpose of Culture First New York is to provide a space for meaningful, actionable discussion through events and interactions that support cultural growth.

Our events will include interactive group conversation and facilitated small breakout sessions so that you leave with clear, and actionable takeaways for your organization.
