About this event

First things first... What is Culture First?

Culture First is a global movement bridged through local communities of people that gather to learn, contribute and realize a better world of work. We do this through free events and gatherings (in-person and virtual) in the hopes of bringing new ideas to improve the work world. We operate under 5 core principles and invite anyone that is aligned with these principles to join our newest Chapter: Culture First CT.

Our 5 Principles
  • Foster belonging and acceptance
  • Be willing to reflect and grow
  • Have the courage to be vulnerable
  • Put learning into action
  • Connection inside, business outside

Better Meetings Discussion

Anyone can schedule a meeting. We want to help you create and facilitate incredible gatherings. By breaking down the elements that allow for meaningful experiences, we give you the tools to strengthen your team and company culture whether remote, hybrid or in-person. Using improvisational modalities, zoom functions, and facilitation best practices, we help make every moment count. You will walk away from these workshops asking the right questions, to make your gatherings better than ever.

After this truly interactive workshop you’ll be ready to…

  • Plan a successful meeting that focuses as much on what people should feel as what they should know
  • Lead engaging and accessible games and exercises on Zoom or in the office
  • Design your own gathering using our free template

While we facilitate this workshop, we will bring you behind the curtain and leave you with inspiration to bring back to your teams and clients. Combining games, best practices, and thoughtful discussion, we hope there is a great opportunity for members and guests to learn from your peers here at Culture First. Plus, did we mention there will be games!?

There is a lot that goes into making meaningful meetings... so please note this session will run 90 minutes long.

Artly Working's approach is based on our facilitation expertise combined with training and experience in theatre and improvisation – where the art and science of people coming together to work and create is our prime directive. We've worked with over 100 innovative companies to help strengthen teams made up of happier people and higher performers.
