As passionate advocates for creating a better world of work, we believe in giving back to our community in meaningful ways. Join the Culture First OC Chapter as we bring together leaders in the field of People and Culture to volunteer at Orangewood Foundation in Santa Ana.

One of our 5 Core Principals at Culture First is to foster belonging and acceptance, and there are community youth in Orange County that could use our support in helping them feel like they belong and are accepted! By participating in this volunteer day, you'll not only support these community youth, you'll also strengthen the bonds within our community as a whole, demonstrating the values that Culture First stands for and how we can continue to change the world. 

When: October 10th, 2023, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Where: Orangewood Foundation, 1575 E 17th Street, Santa Ana (parking info below)

What: Attendees will have an opportunity to serve in a few different capacities during our time onsite. Volunteering may include activities such as dinner service for the youth, packaging youth supply kits, and more! Please note that roles will be assigned on-site on the day of the event, ensuring that each volunteer's strengths are maximized for the greatest impact.

*NOTE: Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring a hair tie in case you're in the kitchen.

Parking:

Orangewood Foundation is located at 1575 E 17th Street, Santa Ana and free parking is available in a large lot on 18th street. A map and additional information can be found here. 

To park, you will enter the counter-clockwise roundabout on 17th street where Orangewood is located, and follow the one-way straight through towards 18th street in the back, where you'll see the parking lot straight ahead. To enter the lot, turn right onto 18th street and a quick left into the parking lot. Walk back to the Orangewood entrance for 1575 (A building) in the roundabout.

We share a collective passion for improving our workplaces by putting culture first. However, this task is not easy, and going it alone limits our chances of success. However, if we can organize and harness our collective passion, our chances for success are greatly increased.

With this in mind, Culture Amp is supporting the development and growth of regionally led Culture First chapters. The goal is to empower local People Geek Communities worldwide to connect, learn, and support one another in creating the change that we want to see in the world!
