About this event

Mental Health Awareness and wellbeing is top of mind for many organizations right now. Individuals are also starting to prioritize many versions of self care. This past year has dramatically exasperated existing mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and PTSD; and many organizations and people leaders have been looking for creative ideas and resources to help support their employees. As our society is working to break longstanding stigmas and provide the support our community really needs, the conversation around Mental Health has become more urgent than ever.

Join the Orange County chapter of Culture First on May 18th for a 1-hour workshop focused around Mental Health & Wellbeing. We’ll kick off the meeting discussing some best practices for addressing Mental Health in the workplace and then we’ll engage in a chair yoga and singing bowls session, guided by Stefanie Nobriga, CAE.

Not only will you walk away with strategies to employ within your organization but you’ll also a relaxing start to the remainder of your evening. (We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and having a stationary chair available. Don’t worry – you can still participate if you’re dressed up and/or seated in a rolling chair!)

See you there!

About Culture First:

As People Geeks, we share a collective passion for improving our workplaces by putting culture first. However, this task is not easy, and going it alone limits our chances of success. However, if we can organize and harness our collective passion, our chances for success are greatly increased.

With this in mind, Culture Amp is supporting the development and growth of regionally led Culture First chapters. The goal is to empower local People Geek Communities worldwide to connect, learn, and support one another in creating the change that we want to see in the world!
