About this event

Howard Thurman said, “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

True aliveness asks us to show up with presence and creativity; vulnerability and a curious mind. And to connect with one another in a way that honors our individual stories and the collective stories we create when we're together.

So let's gather on Thursday, November 18th to explore the stories we tell (ourselves and one another) and then practice holding them lightly in life and work.

Join Shannon Hughes from Enlivened Studios in this interactive workshop, and experience story through the tenets of her Aliveness Scaffolding -- a set of 9 communication skills rooted in the practice of applied improv and mindfulness.

Who is this for? Thought Leaders, Change Makers and Creatives who lead with curiosity and kindness; who have a commitment to their mission, their art and their message. People who think joy is cool and connection is paramount. Come as you are and bring all of you!

What can I expect? Connective exercises intentionally chosen to pull us in and out of our comfort zones together, in order stretch us brilliantly into generative creativity and authentic hang time. Come for the writing prompts, the music, movement, improv and conversation. Stay for the joy.
