Equity, Diversity & Inclusion: How to Create Positive Change by Leveraging the Power of Your People
The social and business imperatives of EDI in the workplace have never been more important than they are today. A global pandemic has brought workplaces into homes and the lines between personal and professional life have blurred permanently. Anti-Asian sentiment because of Covid-19 and the systemic racism that has been highlighted in recent weeks have reminded us that barriers to full participation in society still exist. Clients, customers, and employees are all watching organizations to see how they respond.
But how to start and where to start? Engaging employees in dialogue about these issues that matter to them and then leveraging the power of “employee voice” are important steps on your organization’s inclusion journey now and beyond.
Our speaker, Kristin Bower, is a widely recognized expert in this subject of EDI and will bring her knowledge to you in two parts. These two interactive sessions will create a framework to support a more inclusive, empathetic, and equitable workplace and will explore the following concepts:

• How to talk about hard things
• How to start an employee resource group
Participants will leave with practical skills and tools that they can use right away to create positive change.
