For our first DC Chapter event, we'll be having a firechat on how we can foster inclusion through our different communities, starting with our organizations and workplaces and going further to include all of our spheres of influence like our Culture First community, social circles, and much more!
Led by Angie Bergner (Head of People & Business Operations for Ivy Research Council and certified DEI practitioner through Berkeley's Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership) & Amira El-Gawly Founder + CEO of Manifesta) we'll learn the brain science behind inclusion, discuss how unconscious bias plays a role in our ability to feel truly included and we'll walk away with tools that will help us be more active accomplices in championing inclusion and belonging.
