Building culture is Hard!
Regardless of where you sit in an organisation, some days it just feels like you're fighting an uphill battle and just need some support. Other days you're enthusiastic and thrilled with the progress and just want to share your success. Regardless of where you are on the journey, the Berlin culture-first chapter is dedicated to helping you along the way.
While our official events should give you insights, challenge you and help you find connection with other culture-first thinkers, this event is there to give you the space to talk about what you feel is important.
Let's share our wins, talk about our challenges and support each other to build the future of work we all want.
Ramita enjoys working with leaders to help them create and maintain a healthy work environment where talents can flourish and be their best in what they do. Merging my professional experience of working in the public and private sector, I help people leaders to be aware of wellbeing, environmental and social governance while working with people.
Nowadays, people are collaborating, connecting and coordinating at a pace or scale never experienced before. Navigating through change and adapting to it has become essential for everyone at and beyond the workplace. My aim is to create an inspiring vision for change and be an active agent for the future of work.
Simon has taken an unusual path into the People space.
Starting out in Hotels he learned about servant-leadership early. He decided to leave the industry for better work-life balance, and re-trained as a network and security specialist, ending up in the world of Hollywood movies. While he enjoyed his time working with machines, he was always drawn to the point where people interacted with computers. As he took on more responsibility for this intersection, his career moved further away from machines and more toward people and leadership. Fast forward almost 10 years of peer and leadership coaching, he finally chose to move his focus to building excellent people departments. Now he is constantly looking for how to tweak and improve everything to do with how people work together while being a service-oriented people professional.
