Connecting Conversations

Oct 22, 2020, 3:30 – 5:00 PM (UTC)

Berlin

One of the key points we heard in our last conversation was that connecting, especially personally, is particularly hard online. Whether it's getting your team members to feel connected to each other or having attendees at your events build meaningful connection, we're going to explore the barriers to personal connections and try out some tools to overcome these.

About this event

When we work in the same space, it's easy to network and get to know each other. As we've moved into a more virtual world, this process of connecting on a personal level takes conscious effort - something most of us are not used to doing. As you scale this to create space for your team, or even your whole company to connect, the complexity increases.

We certainly don't have all the answers, but we think that the community does. In the space for two hours we'll lead you through exercises designed to highlight the barriers to connection and brainstorm ways to overcome these. What have you tried? What's worked, and what didn't? We've all learned different things over the past few months and want to create a space to share and learn together.

If everything works out, you may even find yourself connecting to the people in our culture-first community. In the end, those connections of like-minded people is exactly what we're here for.

As always: we welcome everyone! This topic may be most relevant to Team leads and HR Professionals, but is by no means exclusive. If you want to discuss ideas on how to improve connections around you, and maybe pickup an approach or two, this event is for you!
