How we see other people determines our outcomes. When we have an inward mindset, we see others as objects: vehicles or barriers that we use for our own interests. When we have an outward mindset, we see others as people who matter like we do. Come explore how these two mindsets produce very different outcomes in both our personal and professional lives.
Join us for an introduction to the Outward Mindset, facilitated by guest speaker Ben Bowling. Ben first encountered the work of the Arbinger Institute while conducting leadership development workshops in India and Nepal. Since then, he's been an evangelist for the concepts found in the two books from the Arbinger Institute "Leadership and Self-Deception" and "The Outward Mindset."
In his last role as Head of Employee Experience at Branch Insurance, Ben incorporated these concepts into the fabric of Branch’s culture, resulting in Branch being recognized in Glassdoor’s Top 20 Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.
