About this event

In today’s job market, the media makes it look like there are 6 Jobs for every candidate. But the reality is that depending on the field that you’re in and your location, getting your next best job can still be competitive and a long game rather than a short sprint. Knowing how to keep your motivation high, your dander up, and your hope in front of you is a real challenge. Join Culture First Works and Moe Carrick for this interactive session for practical tips and tools for the long game of a job search that seems to go on forever.

Session objectives:

1. Learn the SHELTER model for self care while you are looking for a job.

2. Craft a personal mission to return to again and again that helps you in the dark hours.

3. Orient to the 7 things we need from work to help you decide when to take a job even if it is not perfect for you today.

4. Craft strategies for your next step as you find a job you love.

Join us! All attendees will have an opportunity to throw your name in the virtual hat to win a free spot in Moe's full Love Your Job Course!

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday June 30th, 12:00 - 1:15 pm PT!

About Culture First Works:

Furthering the mission of creating a better world of work means we need purpose-driven leaders in impactful roles across the globe. With the incredible amount of people in transition at any given time, the Culture First Works chapter aims to support and empower these talented individuals on their career journey. Our community is built around monthly educational workshops and group connection sessions that specifically focus on helping one another to prepare for, find, and transition into their next great culture first adventure - whether that be via promotion, a more culture first organization, or a transition to self-employment.

We know a Culture First approach works, so let’s do this together!
