As community builders and culture advocates, what better way to activate our mission than to nourish and strengthen our local Madison community through service?

This October, we are partnering with SAIL (Sharing Active Independent Lives) , a local organization dedicated to empowering older adults throughout the Madison area. SAIL's nonprofit member program provides a vibrant community through learning, activity, socialization and support. 

We will be offering fall yard clean-up services for a handful of SAIL members on October 4th. SAIL members will need to sign up to participate in this event, so the more Madison Culture First volunteers we can rally, the more SAIL members we will be able to serve! Bring a friend!! DETAILS

We are planning a short gathering before heading out to do our work. We'll take about 30 minutes to connect over coffee/donuts and learn a bit more about our SAIL participants and projects. Once we receive our assignments, we'll break into smaller groups to5 ho begin our service. While we are planning  2 - 2.5 hours of service, we are grateful for any time you can commit!!

We are offering one 3-hour shift on Friday, October 4. Click here to sign up! 

Please be sure that each person signs up so we have an accurate headcount! We need a minimum of 12 volunteers to make the greatest impact!

We may ask volunteers to bring gardening tools (eg., a rake, trash bags). More on that as we get closer to the event.

Inclement weather date will be October 11, so please plan ahead.
