About this event

Let’s talk Culture!!

The Culture First Milwaukee Chapter invites you to join us for a “book club” style conversation about the MIT Sloan Management Review Research Highlight article “Why Every Leader Needs to Worry About Toxic Culture” on April 26, from 4:00 – 5:00 CST.

We’ll have an open dialog about the article, exploring the five attributes of a toxic culture outlined in the article (Disrespectful, Non-inclusive, Unethical, Cutthroat, and Abusive).

We suggest reading the following article before the event (but if you don’t have time, no worries):

“Why Every Leader Needs to Worry About Toxic Culture” from MIT Sloan Management Review, by Donald Sull, Charlie Sull, William Cipolli, and Caio Brighenti

And, if you’re one of those people who wants to take a deeper dive into this topic and hear more about the researcher who wrote this article, you may enjoy the following Brené Brown podcasts.

· Dare to Lead (April 4, 2022): “Why Every Leader Needs to Worry About Toxic Culture”

· Dare to Lead (March 7, 2022): “How Toxic Work Cultures Are Driving the Great Resignation”

Register today for an engaging conversation and fun experience with a group of culture enthusiasts united in the shared belief that a better world of work is possible.
