Lead with Love (Embracing love & appreciation in the workplace)

Feb 15, 2022, 5:00 – 6:30 PM (UTC)

Milwaukee

Do you think it is impossible to use the word love, at work? Let's shift our mindset! During this session we will dive in to what it looks like to embrace your love language and how to use that knowledge when managing a team or interacting with colleagues.

About this event

When we think of love, we generally skip to the romantic kind of love (which is wonderful), but not what we are talking about here.

Why is it that we generally consider love to be so important outside of work but not at work? Why is it that 'professionalism' and 'love' often seem mutually exclusive? It's time to talk about love at work!

Leading with love and compassion has been extensively researched and is something many workplaces are seriously lacking especially today when we are deeply seeking connection. We know that those who feel loved and appreciated are happier, healthier, more productive, and create a culture of belonging.

Join us for this interactive, virtual event hosted by Milwaukee alongside the Culture First chapters of Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Kansas City where we will be using our love languages to explore how we easily misunderstand each other (in work and life). By knowing each other (and our love languages) we can support each other in more meaningful ways. No prior knowledge of love languages is needed - there will be a link to take the short survey to find out more about them or find your love language here: https://www.5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/

We will learn how to apply our new knowledge to create a culture of love, belonging, and appreciation.
